    3. Sondra and List, We have in our genealogy library "Official Register of the United States Officers and Employees in the Civil, Military and Naval Service" by Authority of Congress, compiled by the Chief Clerk of the Department of the Interior. Government Printing Office. This particular book is for 1903 however, according to the head of the deparment one is, and has been, published every year since back in the 1800's. This book (actually two volumes) lists every possible government position you could think of (and some you probably would never think of) including postmasters and post office clerks. Perhaps you could try through inter-library loan to see if the book for the year(s) that Felix was postmaster is extant. Since I was looking through the book tonight I decided to jot down the postmasters and clerks for Louisa Co. and post it to the list just in case someone might find a name they are working on. Remember this is for 1903 and there are some towns listed that don't show up on my modern maps; I wonder if they still exist. Postmasters Cairo, J.L.
