Dear Bev; I hate to say this because you never really know if you have everything, but when we were visiting my cousin Lorraine Willis in Muscatine this past July she kindly loaned me a hardbound copy of THE McKEE FAMILY - 1927, prepared by William Shakespear McKee, son of Leander McKee and a former Postmaster of the Muscatine Postoffice. He researched and compiled the family history. It is no longer in print and that is why I have a borrowed copy (which I am copying for my own use). My grandfather, Edgar Sangree Smith, who married Susannah Jane McKee was the only Smith by that surname who came to Iowa. There are no Smiths of his line in Louisa or Muscatine Counties. However, the McKees are probably all related. Would you send me what you have found of the McKees/McKays? Thank you. Pat P.
