Keith is 100% correct in sending data to the list rather than privately to an individual. This is the whole purpose of this list to "share information". If you don't want to read information that doesn't pertain to your family, there is a delete key for that purpose. As the listowner I encourage you to briefly quote the question without forwarding the entire message and answer it on the list. It isn't necessary to copy the person's e-mail address and entire message on the list when answering a question, but you do need to quote enough so other's know what the original question was.
