In response to a query that was mistakenly posted on the Louisa-D-request list which is to be used for subscribing and unsubscribing only and not for queries, I am reposting the question as I answer it. The Bios on the web page contain a condensed version of the genealogical data such as names, dates, places of birth etc. without all the excessive adjectives and glowing eulogies that inevitably accompanied these biographies. All names, dates etc have been extracted from those biographies so there would be no more helpful information in the actual bios. Just the writing style of the original author and excessive wordage is missing from the condensed versions. ---- Subject: Question on 1912 BIOs Date: Tue, 17 Aug 1999 18:46:33 -0700 (PDT) From: Tim Singleton <ts8501@micronet.net> To: "IALOUISA-D-request@rootsweb.com" <IALOUISA-D-request@rootsweb.com> Are the BIOs that are documented on the web site the full published document? Or does the actual book cover them in more detail? J.(Jake)C. Smith was my great-great grandfather. He was formerly a sheriff in the County. I am very interested in any information on Eliza Frizzell's family, whom Jake married. I would also like to resolve a minor discrepancy. R.L. (Robert Lee) Singleton and Eliza Berdella had a son named Ray Smith Singleton (not Roy Singleton as noted). He was my grandfather, borne in 1899, and died in 1986 in Rock Island, IL. Thanks for any assistance. -Tim Singleton
