They had no children. After her death, he married Maria Louisa Morgan. In his second marriage to Maria, he had nine children. My ancestor, Robert Willis, b l828, married La Visa Willis. Their children: Ellen, Mary Elizabeth, William Willis, Mariam Navista, Nancy Jane, and Jenny. Mary Elizabeth is the only one whose descendants survived for any length of time. Mary Willis, b l830 m. Thomas Clossen in l853 in Adams Mills, OH. Mary Jane, Caleb, James Madison, George, Charles, Eliza Ellen, Frank, Ben, and Barn. James Madison, b. 2 AUG 1932 m. Elizabeth Porter l6 JUN 1868. Catherine, b l835, died. Catherine, b. l836 in Morristown, Belmont Co., Oh, m. Dewitt Clinton Marshall in l856. Their children: Robert C., Margaret J., Sarh Eliza, Mary V., James S., Alma, Katherine R., Joshua W., Cora L., Cleo Bertha, and Joseph. Dewitt Marshall died in l901 in Henry Co., IA; Catherine d. 21 JAN l902 in Winfield, Henry Co., IA. William Taggart Willis, b l839 in Belmont Co., OH, m. Martha Walker in l867. They divorced, and he m. Melvia Grubbs. Two children were born to the first marriage, and three to the second. William Taggart d. Sept., l9l3 in Muscatine, Muscatine County, IA.
