October 17, 1999 Hi all, I am back on the list, primarily as a lurker. Many of you are aware that I had heart problems in August, bypass surgery which triggered a brain stem stroke on September 9, went to a rehabilitation center on September 20, and was discharged home from there on October 15. I will receive in-home rehabilitation therapy for an unspecified period of time. I thank those of you who have so graciously sent messages of encouragement and support to both Connie and myself. We appreciate it. If I have not responded to a previous posting of yours, please make the request again. I'll try to answer after-the-stroke requests, but fear that earlier requests are lost and deleted. I'm looking to the future and hope that we can mutually assist each other in our future genealogical research via computer and e-mail. Thanks again to all of you!
