I am seeking information on the Hamilton Family that moved to Louisa County, Iowa sometime after 1835. John Hamilton and Elizabeth Brown Hamilton moved with their 11 children and lived near Morning Sun. John and Elizabeth are buried in Rice Cemetery in Louisa County, Iowa. John Andrew Hamilton, my great, great grandfather married Lydia Paisley in Morning Sun on July 3, 1855. His brother William later married Dorthy Paisley in 1858. My great grandfather Samuel Brown Hamilton was born in Morning Sun on June 30, 1856. I am particularly interested in the location of Rice Cemetery and if it is still in existance. I am also interested in other documents or information about this family that may exist. Anyone with information about the family or resources for this type of information in Louisa County would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you very much Melissa
