Iowa in the 1830s Married ELIZA (Elizabeth) ELLIOTT PATTERSON in Louisa Co. Iowa Had a son JAMES ALEXANDER JOY b. 31 Mar 1847 in Henry Co. Iowa I believe William had a brother by the name of ELI JOY.
