    1. FREDERICK SNYDER, d. 1850

    3. The mortality schedule of Louisa Co. for June 1849 to May 1850 shows Frederick SNYDER, 36, born Germany, died April 1850 of cholera. Can anyone tell me where he is buried or where I can find out anything else about him. I note there were two others who died of cholera that same spring and summer. On the 1850 census of Louisa Co, in Grandview Twp., is Frederick's widow, Adaline. Also in the same township are Julia A. SNYDER, 68, born Germany, and in another household are Philip SNYDER, 30, born Germany, and his family. Can anyone tell me if this is the mother and brother of Frederick? Frederick and a brother supposedly came to Louisa Co. and entered land, then returned to Pennsylvania for their families and brought them to Iowa. We thought Frederick died on the return trip but evidently he arrived in Louisa Co. before dying. Thanks for any help and/or advice. Mary Hart
