    3. Bev (and others who are researching these names), Thanks so much for posting all this info on the mailing list! I admire your perseverance and dedication and am extremely grateful to you for spending all the time I know it takes to extract and then post this stuff so we can have the information. A big thank you! I have a couple of corrections to the info that you posted on MILLER and BEDWELL: Here is what you've posted: Bk "B" p 26 11 Nov 1855 Alexander MILLER*\ Lavine BEDWELL* (20) (s/o Henry & Lydia\ d/o Daniel & Jane CANNON BEDWELL) Correction: Lavina Bedwell (b. November 1840) was the niece of Daniel Bedwell (she was the daughter of Daniel's brother, John Bedwell, and Eliza Jane Harnett). In the 1850 census she was living in the home of Daniel Bedwell, his wife Jane, and his mother, Rachel Bedwell whose husband died in Jan of that year. He was the James Bedwell who is listed on the mortality index. Daniel was only 22 at the time of the 1850 census, and Lavina was 9. And this one: Bk "C" p 70 11 Sept George W. HUNT*\ Lavina MILLER* (38) Correction: This should read George W. HONTS and Lavina MILLER. They married in Louisa Co. in 1865, after her first husband Alexander MILLER died in 1863. As a HONTS researcher I can tell you it is a frustrating name to research (as Gary Honts, another list member and my 3rd cousin once removed, can attest!) because it is spelled so many different ways in records of that era - Honts, Honce, Hance, Haunts, Hons, Houts, Houtz, Hants, Hontz, etc. On George and Lavina's marriage certificate it is spelled three different ways - on one document! Again, thanks for posting all this info for us. If anyone has any BEDWELL info to share please post it. I'm working with Norma Jennings to post the BEDWELL info to the Louisa Co. website. Thanks. Mari Nielsen
