Hi Wilma & list, You asked if I found a marriage listing for John W. BUTCHER married to Lovina BLAKE. The only John was John BUTCHER (no middle inital) m 20 Feb 1879 to Sarah E. WILCOX (Bk "E" p 201). There are no BUTCHER's listed on the 1850 Louisa County Census; perhaps they will be found in one of the surrounding counties. Apparently Nehemiah BLAKE and Elizabeth PAGET were married in OH. The only marriage for David BLAKE is for David T. m Sarah MICKEY on 21 Jul 1851. (Bk "A" p 186). Sorry--I must have made a mistake when I listed the house hold of Ward BLAKE.
