    3. Thanks, Bev, for posting this census info on Hiram Gregory. I appreciate it very much! It gives me an opportunity to ask if anyone on the list knows of a connection between the Bedwell family and the Gregory family. Delilah Bedwell age 7 was living in Hiram Gregory's home in the 1850 census. Why? Delilah was the daughter of John Bedwell who died in Louisa Co. in 1845 and Eliza Jane Harnett. Eliza Jane had married again in 1846 to Mark Knight, had two more children, and was widowed again by 1849. She was living in the home of William Blake along with her two children by Knight in the 1850 census, but her children by John Bedwell are living in three different homes - Lavina age 9 in her grandmother Rachel Bedwell's home, Delilah age 7 in Hiram Gregory's home and Rachel age 5 in George and Nancy (Blake) Smith's home. Anyone know of a connection between the Bedwells and the Blakes and the Gregorys?
