Graveside funeral services for 82 year old Loraine Belle Davis of Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Columbus Junction, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at the Columbus City Cemetery where burial followed the service. The Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction, handled local arrangements. There was no visitation. Loraine Davis died Saturday, April 10 (1999) at the Swedish Hospital, Littleton, Colorado. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Loraine Bell Batley was born June 29, 1916 in Warsaw, Illinois to Ernest and Clara Moesch Batley. She married Marshal A. Davis, August 2, 1934, in Keokuk, Iowa. Loraine loved gardening, sewing, cooking, collecting certain items, and spending time with her loved ones. Loraine is survived by her husband, Marshall Davis, Littleton, Co.; her children, Mrs. Claudette Bausch and her husband Ronald, Golden, Co., Mrs. Marilyn Littler and her husband Al, Billings, Montana, Linda Oswald, Littleton, Co; and Charla Davis, Littleton, Co. There are 13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Margaret "Peg" McConahay, Wapello. Loraine was preceded in death by her parents.
