Nelson, 78, Wapello, died this morning at the Mediapolis Care Center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello. Rev. Richard Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. The daughter of William and Adah Foor Bishop, she was born Feb. 14, 1902, Wapello. Her first marriage was to Houston Malone and her second to Charles Nelson. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Mrs. Nelson had owned and operated the West End Grocery in Wapello for 20 years.
