Leonard Eggenburg, 62, of Silver Springs, Florida, formerly of Muscatine, Wapello and Morning Sun, died March 14, 1999. His body was cremated. Memorial services were held at Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church in Silver Springs on March 17th. Family and friends met with his brothers and sister in Muscatine on March 20th. Leonard was born June 27, 1936 in Muscatine, the son of Earl and Marguarite (Wilson) Eggenburg. He married Barbara Midkiff on November 23, 1957. Survivors include his wife Barbara; a son, Kenneth Eggenburg and wife Darlene, of Morning Sun; two daughters, Kathy Kmieciak and husband, David of Silver Springs, and Sally Vacca and husband John of Galesburg, Illinois; three brothers, Roger and wife Margaret of Texas, Ronald of Moline, Illinois (an unlisted brother); a sister, Shirley Pender and husband Lynn of Blairstown, IA; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
