NOBLE BAZEL Hazel Ida Noble Bazel, 89, of Leslie, Mo., died Oct. 13, 1998, at Gerald Caring Center, Gerald, Mo. Mrs. Bazel was born Dec. 11, 1908, near Oakville, Ia., the daughter of Fred Park and Mary Etta Ashby Noble. She married Ralph Salzwedel, September 1926. He died February 1947. She married John Bazel, June 17, 1951. Survivors include her husband, John, of Leslie, Mo.; one son, Kenneth Salzwedel and wife Betty of Burlington; three daughters, Mrs. Bart (Marjorie) Aubuchon of Union, Mo.; Mrs. Ron (Elaine) Gurda of Las Vegas, and Mrs. Dean (Janice) Hoehle of Wapello; 13 grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and two sisters. The family was served by Midlawn Funeral Home in Union, Mo. Graveside services were held Friday, Oct. 16 at the Wapello Cemetery, with the Rev. Dan Doolin, Wapello, officiating. A Memorial has been established for the Evergreen Baptist Church, Leslie, Mo.
