He was born April 22, 1903 in Jackson Township, Hardin County, Iowa, son of William H. and Anna E. Tusha Steinfeldt. He married the former Ruth Shutter of Morning Sun. Survivors include his wife, Ruth, two sons, Jack Steinfeldt, Buckeye, Arizona, and Ted Steinfeldt, Denver, Colorako and three grandchildren.
