Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Fred Harris of Morning Sun will officiate. Burial will be in the Rice Cemetery, Morning Sun. Visitation begins at noon Saturday. The son of John and Grave Rawmiller Martin, he was born Oct. 20, 1920, in Louisa County. His marriage to Margaret Emagene McDonald took place Nov. 12, 1949, in Independence, Mo. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Morning Sun. Mr. Martin has been employed as a farmer and banker and was a former chairman of the board of the Iowa State Bank of Morning Sun. Survivors include his wife; one son, Mark of Morning Sun; two daughters, Bonnie and Beth, both at home; one grandchild; two brothers, William of Columbus Junction and Larry of Glenwood; and three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Jeanette) Howe of Mount Pleasant, Mrs. Ann Workman of Bates City, Mo., and Mrs. Paul (Kay) Duncan of Columbus Junction.
