Funeral services for 95 year old Lillian Wince of Columbus Junction were held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Statcy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction, Iowa. Visitation was held on Sunday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home from 2-6 p.m.. Lillian died Friday at the Colonal Manor Care Center, Columbus Junction. A memorial has been established for Colonial Manor. Burial was in the Columbus City Cemetery. Lillian Mae Rust was born April 1, 1901 in Clinton, Iowa to Albert and Harriett Swailes Rust. She married Harry Lewis Wince November 28, 1918 in Cairo, Iowa. Lillian was a member of the Columbus City United Methodist Church and Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Columbus Junction Senior Center. Lillian is survived by two children, Mrs. Kenneth (Lucille) Swailes, Iowa City, Iowa and son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Wince, Davenport. There are 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter Harriett.
