Noble, 75, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello. Burial will be in Edwards Cemetery, Oakville. Mr. Noble died Thursday at Burlington Medical Center, May 4, 1989. Visitation is 7-8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. He retired in 1979 as a Millwright at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, Burlington. He married Sylvia Lott in 1940 in Bowling Green, Mo. She died in 1974. He was a Army veteran of World War II. He had served 27 years in the service and active reserves and had served in the Philippines. He was a member of Moose Lodge, Jerseyville, Ill.; a charter member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wapello; and a member of American Legion, Oakville. Survivors include daughters, Anita Hardwick, Adelanto, Calif.; Sylvia Hardwick, Gloucester, Mass.; Lynda Angel, Hardin, Ill.; and Sandy Hall, Muscatine; sons, Roy, Phelon, Calif.; Ray, Oakville; Lynn George, Jewell, Iowa, and Wayne, Davenport; 18 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Lee, Hiawatha, Iowa; and a brother, Curtis, Muscatine.
