Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery, rural Columbus Junction. Mr. Faler was pronounced dead Tuesday at Muscatine General Hospital from injuries he received at Elder Implement Building, Nichols. He had been a mechanic five years at the implement business. Visitation will be noon-9 p.m. today at the chapel. A memorial has been established. He was a member of United Presbyterian Church, Columbus Junction, and Spring Run Cart Association. He was a 1981 graduate of Columbus Community High School and a 1982 graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute, Des Moines. Survivors include his parents, David and Janice Faler, Columbus Junction; grandparents, Viola Faler, Columbus Junction, and Wilbur and Evelyn Long, Mount Pleasant; sisters, Cynthia Faler, at home, and Julianne (Mrs. Malcom) Patterson, Columbus Junction; and brothers, Matthew, Washington, D.C., and Nathan, at home.
