Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Walker will officiate. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Marshall Trible, she was born Aug. 28, 1891 in Cairo, Iowa. Her marriage to Jesse Ives took place Oct. 7, 1912 in Muscatine. He died on Aug 15, 1966. She was a member of the Wapello United Methodist Church. Mrs. Ives had worked as a telephone operator from 1911 to 1921. She and her husband later operated the Ives Grocery Store for 29 years. Survivors include one son, William of Wapello; one daughter, Betty DeVilbiss of Burlington; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
