Wapello - Robert Harold Cook, 50, died of a sudden heart attack Thursday in his home at Rt. 2, Wapello. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Dudgeon-MCulley Funeral Home. Rev. John Beebout will officiate. Burial will be in the Parsons Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home. Robert Harold Cook was born Nov. 22, 1931, in Owensborro, Ky. His marriage to Donna Parsons took place Aug. 31, 1968, in Oquawka, Ill. He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Cook had worked as an operator engineer for the Rock Island Railroad and was a member of the Local No. 537 of Rock Island. Survivors include his wife; one stepson, Bill Havenhill of Wapello; two stepdaughters, Ellen Burcham of Waterloo, Neb., and Sue Ranum of Waukon; 13 grandchildren; and three sisters, Lucille Burris of Houston, Texas, and Louise Sausser and Anne Mae Early, both of Louisville, Ky.
