Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Smith will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wapello Fire Department. Mr. Odle was born June 7, 1894 in Louisa County, a son of Thomas and Mary Jackson Odle. He married Myrtle Hartsock, Feb. 4, 1914 at Wapello. She died Sept. 22, 1962. He was a life resident here and had farmed during his adult life. He is survived by three sons, Donald Odle and Hilton Odle, both of Wapello; and Robert “Skip” Odle Jr., Muscatine; three daughters, Kathelyn Hall and Hilda Schwob, both of Wapello; and Charmian Jones, Scottsdale, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
