COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Victor Stacy, 82, Conesville, died Thursday evening at University Hospitals, Iowa City. Services are Sunday at 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Columbus Junction. The Rev. Thomas Woodin will officiate. Organists will be Marsha Gerot and Cecil Schlichting. Vocalist wil be Brian and Kristie Cummings. Pallbearers will be Steven J., D. Stacy, W. Douglas, Christian A., Craig S., David S. II, and Dominque L. Lewis. Floral attendants will be Tina, Charity and Calista Lewis. Burial will be at the Columbus City Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 1 to 8 p.m. on Satuday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction. Mr. Stacy was born Aug. 4, 1906 at Brighton, Iowa, a son of Thomas and Lieucietta Crawford Stacy. On Sept. 8, 1926 he was united in marriage to Grace Letita Garbry at Brighton. He was a member of the United Methodist Church at Columbus Junction, the National Funeral Directors Association, a long time member and past officer and presently an honorary member of the Iowa Funeral Directors Association. He also held membership in the Columbus City Lodge No. 107, AF&AM, the Davenport consitory and the Kaaba Shrine. He was a funeral director by trade and operated the Stacy Funeral Home at Wayland from 1937-1950 and from 1950-1975, the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home at Columbus Junction. Survivors include his wife, Grace; a daughter, Mrs. Warren (Constance) Lewis of Columbus Junction; four grandsons; and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
