The daughter of Orpha Edith Maddux Lang and Charles Paul Lang, she was born in Wapello on April 12, 1911. She had recently been employed as a waitress in the Capitol café in Wapello. She was a member of the Wapello Methodist church and the Royal Neighbors of America lodge. Surviving are four sons, Charles Allen and Robert Dean of Rock Island; Neil Duane, in the U.S. Army; and Walter Chester, of Wapello; one daughter, Mrs. Janet Bozarth of Yarmouth, Ia.; and two grandchildren. A daughter, Delores, preceded her in death. The body is at the Dudgeon Funeral home where it will remain for the services Thursday. The Rev. L. E.
