Mr. Brown died Wednesday at St. Francis Care Center, Burlington. Officiating will be Rev. Jerrold Swinton. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Mr. Brown was born on Dec. 21, 1903 at Richland, the son of Julius and Josie Morrow Brown. His marriage to Abbie Sheafor took place on July 21, 1928 at Wapello. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and was a street commissioner for Burlington. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Sunny Fay Gwen of Omaha, Neb., and Sandra Kay Gossage of Burlington; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
