DEAN McKINNEY Wapello H. Dean McKinney, 45, Wapello, died early this morning at University Hospitals, Iowa City, following an extended illness. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church in Wapello. Rev. John Beebout will officiate. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. Visitation is at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home where a memorial fund has been established. H. Dean McKinney was born Nov. 17, 1934, in Louisa County, the son of H. Raymond and Wilma Harrison McKinney. He was a life resident of the Wapello area. His marriage to Phyllis McConahay took place Aug. 9, 1952, in Toolesboro. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 5 A.F. and A.M., the Archaeological Society, the American Donkey and Mule Association and the Iowa Donkey and Mule Association. Survivors include his wife, one son, Jeffrey of Council Bluffs; two daughters, Sandra McKinney of Wapello and Cynthia Dahle of Davenport; his mother of Wapello; and his sister, M.
