Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Wapello United Methodist Church. Rev. John Beebout and Rev. James Poe will both officiate. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. Visitation is today at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home. Loren Jackson was born July 15, 1933 in Grandview, the son of Fay and Vera Walker Jackson. He was a life resident of the Wapello area and was a 1952 graduate of the Grandview High School. His marriage to Valeen Schaper took place Dec. 27, 1955 in Wapello. He had been in the U.S. Air Force and had served in the Korean War. He had farmed and had also worked for 17 years at the I.A.A. P. in Burlington. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Teresa and Lisa Kay, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Vera Reid of Wapello; three brothers, Fay Dean and John, both of Wapello and Richard of Burlington; and two sisters, Pauline Stephens of Wapello and Mary Frances Kemp of Grandview.
