Robert Ahlstrom will conduct the services and burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Coulter died Monday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. Pallbearers will be Jerry Lee, Larry Lee, Tom Lee, Gordon Esmoil, Mark Esmoil, and Howard Kerfoot. Vada Timm will play the organ. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday after 9 a.m. Memorials may be left to the Lutheran Homes. She was born the daughter of Herman and Elsie Zastrow Marquardt at Sheboygan, Wisc. on May 3, 1928. She had lived in Muscatine since 1953. She married John Henry Coulter on June 12, 1953 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Muscatine. She had worked as a certified nurses aide at the Lutheran Homes, Muscatine General Hospital, Weber Button Co., and in private duty. She was of the Lutheran faith. Survivors include one son, John Coulter, Jr., Muscatine, and two daughters, Sandra Garcia and Debra Coulter, both of Muscatine; and one brother, Arthur Marquardt, of Sheboygan, Wisc. Four grandchildren also survive her. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 8, 1989; two sons, one sister and her parents.
