ALBERT DAYTON Funeral services for 63 year old J. Albert Dayton of Columbus Junction, Iowa was held on Saturday, July 29, 1995 at 1:30 p.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction, Iowa. Burial was in the Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation was at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m., with the family present. Albert died on Wednesday, July 26, 1995 at the University Hospitals after an extended illness. A memorial has been established for the family. James Albert Dayton was born October 14, 1931 in Iowa City, Iowa to William and Dora Hammond Dayton. He married Beatrice Storm, January 4, 1975 in Louisa County. Albert had worked in the sanitation department at Rath Packing, Columbus Junction, and also farmed. He was a life long Louisa County resident. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice, Columbus Junction; a son, James and daughter, Angela, both at home in Columbus Junction. Also surviving is his aunt, Josephine Hammond, Wapello.
