Fisher, 65, Mediapolis, died of leukemia Friday, April 12, at University Hospitals, Iowa City. She was born Jan. 28, 1920 in Cedar Rapids to Calvin and Vada Harwood Allworth. She married Bernard Parsons June 9, 1940 at Wapello. They divorced. She was the past owner and manager of the Allworth Lumber Co., Mediapolis. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Mediapolis, of the TTT, and of Eastern Star. Surviving: Her mother, Wapello; two sons, Calvin, Wapello; and Kirby, Hwy 61 N., Burlington; six grandchildren; an aunt, Frances Mealhouse, Mediapolis. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 15 at Fry Funeral Chapel at Mediapolis, Ia. The Rev. Dr. Gene Gardiner officiated. Burial was in the Wapello Cemetery.
