Born March 21,1901 in Wyman, he was the son of Daniel and Ann Edwards Peters. He married Marie Schlutz on Feb. 2, 1946 at Long Beach, CA. She preceeded him in death. He was a memeber of Cotter Presbyterian Church and was a house painter and a wallpaper hanger. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Heindel, of Columbus Junction and three grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers and three sisters. Visitation was Thursday with the family present from 6-8 pm at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction. The funeral for Mr. Peters was at 10:30 am Friday at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial was in Cambrian Cemetery, rural Columbus Junction. A memorial has been established.
