Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Wapello. The Rev. George Yetter will officiate. Burial will be at the Wapello Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church. Mr. Reutinger was born Feb. 2, 1896, at Wapello, a son of Joseph and Mary Keck Reutinger. His marriage to Leona Weltha took place June 23, 1930 at Randall, Iowa. Survivors include his wife, Leona; one son, Ramon Reutinger, of Morning Sun; one daughter, Mary Coutts, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Mr. Reutinger was a 1915 graduate of the Wapello High School and the Quincy Business School at Quincy, Ill. He was a life member of the Wapello United Methodist Church and Sunday school. He has served as the churchs treasurer as well as other offices. He was a 51-year member of the board of the Farmers Elevator and Exchange of Wapello; a 50-year member of the Louisa County Farm Bureau, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 5, AF&AM. He had served on the Wapello Community School Board. He had worked for the U.S. American Telephone Company for two years and had farmed for most of his life.
