Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Smith will officiate. Burial is in the Wapello Cemetery. Visitation begins Friday afternoon. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home. The son of Horace and Katherine Pierce Baker, he was born Aug. 17, 1900 in Winfield. He was a life resident of the Wapello area and had served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Baker had worked as a chauffeur and truck driver for 30 years. One brother, Pierce of Iowa City, survives.
