The Louisa County Sheriffs Department said David Austin Korn died while sitting in a car parked in a closed garage. The incident was reported to the sheriffs department at 4:58 p.m. Officials have not ruled the death a suicide. Louisa County Coroner Dr. Robert Carlton was not available this morning. His telephone answering machine indicates he is on vacation and refers emergency calls to Burlington Medical Center. David Korn David Austin Korn, 37, of rural Wapello, died Saturday afternoon, Sept. 8, 1990, at his home. Born July 30, 1953, in Burlington, he was the son of John R. and Ida Mae Adams Korn. He farmed the past three years with his parents and before that worked at Bandag Corp., Muscatine, and a medical supply company in Des Moines. He was graduated in 1971 from Wapello High School. Mr. Korn is survived by his parents; a brother, Brian Korn, Dallas, Ga.; and two step-nieces. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home with the Rev. George Yetter officiating. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
