Keith, your phone numbers for the Utter's worked wonders!!I thank you so much..We have connected with a "cousin" also looking, found out there is a Bible for the Cole line and now have another question. I found an 1858 plat map on film of Louisa co.It shows the sections but not the Range-twp(edges are blacked out). I am guessing this is Concord or Grandview twp at this time period.I can see Freedonia city and Port Allen on the plat which is about where the Utter farm is north 2 miles and east, and a mile away is the Cole farm.Is there something in the courthouse in Wapello to help me find records of this.Deeds?? Which office would have this??.There is also a J.H. Cole listed by Columbus City in the section the Mississippi&Missouri Railroad tracks ran thru to Clifton?? Seems to be a lot of JR Duncan family listed by them. Do you have an 1858 plat map intact at the Museum that is not split up like this one on film. Carol
