From what I am seeing here, your research interest may be more in Muscatine Co than Louisa...lucky I do both (GRIN) I am NOT related to this line but when someone says a family "disappeared after 1853" it's a challenge... I don't know how much help this first part will be to you...it came from a gedcom file which had a lot of unrelated folks to me in it (but some of mine too) I DO know the contributor (he lives in Muscatine) and he may have more info (if you think this will help any, email me in private and I'll put you in touch with him). In his database he also had a bunch of "unconnected" James' as though he too was trying to hook them all together...if there is interest I will post an outline of those as well, though I don't know that they directly relate to Louisa Co. I did see one mentioning Henry Co IA I DID add two things to this list...since his data provided the wife's name for Wm Sr. I went over to www.familysearch.org and was able to find a marriage date/location for their marriage. I didn't look for the children, etc., just the marriage as I was trying to get a feel for the timeframe. He had only Gad and Stephen listed under the children, so I did add the "known siblings" from your message.
