Hello again, Verbal "family history" says that great aunt Phoebe lost her husband, Thomas Bennet, and a son to cholera on the trail to Oregon. I find them on the 1850 census of Grandview Township, Louisa County with a one year old daughter, Dolly A. I would guess that they were married around 1848-1849. It appears that along with two Creswell brothers and their wives, Phoebe and Thomas left St. Joe for Oregon in April of 1852.
