For others who may be researching the Griswold name, I did locate the death date for Frank B. Griswold in the Keck Funeral Home Records. In 1847 p. 28, Franklin and Catherine Griswold paid taxes in Columbus City Township, not Marshall twp. The following year 1848, Franklin and Ira Griswold paid taxes, p. 22, Columbus City Township. Keck Funeral Home Records 1922 Frank B. Griswold b. Jan. 8, 1836 (Cem book says April 22, 1835) d. Jan. 8, 1922 Uremia, enlarged prostate, Buried in Oakland cemetery. Charged to J.B. Johnson of Columbus Junction. I can find no evidence of an older Franklin b. 1803 in Louisa County in any of the records I have on my computer, tax lists, Funeral Home Records or cemetery records.
