The first 3056 names of a temporary Louisa County Genealogical Society Index to all of the published cemetery books was loaded this p.m. This includes the names in the first two letters of the alphabet, "A & B". If you are in a hurry to find a relative listed in that index, please post your query on the list and one of us that has access to the cemetery books or to the entire database will do lookups for you if you give us the name, township, & page number where it is located. No requests for all entries for a particular surname will be done at this time as you will eventually be able to do that yourself. I will need to limit my number of lookups so I can complete the index and continue working on the entire database, but I will do up to three a day until all records are available. For now, only names beginning with A or B will be addressed. I will do like Keith does, number the query and answer them in the order received as I find time to do it. It will probably be futile to bookmark these pages as they may change. There are now 38 pages linked to the Introductory page. They may all need to go into a separate directory when more complete. For now, they are accessible via: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ialcgs/lccintro.htm
