Can anyone tell me where Port Allen is located? It must have been in or near Louisa County, as far as I can tell. Jesse Graves was the Post Master there in 1854, according to some one's research... Thanks for any help, bjlarson@uswest.net

Hi I looked on an 1895 map an Port Allen is located at the very border of Muscatine and Louisa counties in the southwest corner of Muscatine county. It is or was straight north of Columbus Junction.
