After doing so yesterday, with negative results, I decided to respond to all of you at once. 22 Oct 1857, Jesse Graves, death. Checked Oct 24 and 31 issues. 5 Nov 1857, Charles Coburn and Anna Craddock, marriage. Checked Nov 7, 14, 21 issues. 12 Oct 1859, Alonzo Cole, death. Checked Oct 14 and 21 issues. 31 Jan 1860, Francis Hill, death (I received 3 requests for this popular ancestor!). Checked Feb 3, 10, 17. This was a long shot as there are few notices anyway. The ones there are were short and mostly for Muscatine citizens. I had looked through all of 1860 though and did see a few Louisa County, so that was the basis for my offer.
