Dear LC list, Someone on the list recently was interested in the GETTERT surname. In the Muscatine Journal for April 7, 2000, in an Our Yesterdays column that I author, there is an item in the 75 years ago category for Muscatine that lists the Muscatine survivors of the Civil War Battle of Shiloh, who were living in Muscatine in April of 1925.
