    3. Gary There are books for each year, from the Wapello Tribune newspaper, for 1898 through 1913. In 1900, on page 39, I found the following: "The citizens of Wapello and vicinity were greatly shocked and grieved last Sunday on learning that Dr. Frank Tustison had died quite suddenly about 7:30 that morning. Dr. Tustison was born in Crawford county, Ohio, January 25, 1837, and was therefore not quite 64 years of age...At the age of 12 he moved with his family to Defiance county, Ohio, where he received his primary education, completing a course in the academy at Newville, Ind., after which he spent a year and a half in the study of medicine with Dr. Hull of Newville. In 1862 he came to Iowa, locating at Ainsworth. After completing a course at the Keokuk medical college he settled down to the practice at Ainsworth, where he remained until 1871 when he came to Wapello, since which time he has been in active practice... Dr. Tustison had been thrice married. His first wife was Miss Martha Thompson, who died August 5, 1872, leaving three children, all of whom are living, the two daughters in Idaho and son Dwight in this county. His next marriage was to Mrs. Minnie Mann, whose death occurred in July, 1878. In August, 1879, occurred his marriage to Miss Sophia Hook, who with three children, Charles, Frank and Emily, and the aged mother of the Dr., survive to mourn their loss." Wapello Tribune, Friday, November 30, 1900, page 6. Gary, there is also an article about him in the 1889 Portrait and Biographical Album, page 522. It is rather lengthy, so I did not try to type it here.
