Dear Janice, Patricia and LC list, I didn't see an initial query on the TEAS name. Family members were in Des Moines, Louisa, Henry and Washington counties, that I know of. There was more than one George Washington Teas. I have a collateral connection to the descendants of one of them, and have a little information I could share. The above is in reference to a George Washington and Lovey Teas, parents of Joseph Bartlett Teas, born 4 July 1800 in Tennessee, married Martha Morgan 13 June 1822 in Sangamon County, Illinois. I have names of their children and further descendants, if anyone is interested.
