What Louisa County newspapers are in existence for 1860's and where are they kept? I am looking for a death notice or obituary for FRANCIS HARRISON. He is buried in the Lettsville cemetery and his headstone (according to WPA cemetery list) had 1802-1860. He appears in the 1860 census of Louisa County taken on or about July 23, 1860. There are no death, will, or probate records with the county. The county tax list indicates he owned personal property but no real property in 1860. (He does not appear in the 1861 county tax list). Therefore, I am guessing he died between July-December 1860. Other than newspapers, does anybody have any suggestions of other sources for my research to establish a more specific death date?
