I continue to be amazed at the amount of data that can be found on line. I just learned of another book repository on line containing the scanned pages of over 1600 books and 50,000 journals. They hope to eventually have over 7500 books on line. Not knowing if this was available to the general public or only to students, I tried a simple search and every time came up with something. There are probably many more Universities with data on line. This may be a resource we have been overlooking. One interesting book I found was a list of all the postoffices and their postmasters after searching for the surname "Jarrard" between 1800 and 1925. Yes, a James Jarrard was at one time postmaster in Washington. You can do either a simple search or a more refined limited search with this resource.
