I am working on joining the DAR and I need documentation. She died before I believe Death Certificates were issued in Iowa. An Obituary will count toward documentation in the DAR. We hope you will stop by a visit your favorite county and while you are visiting we hope you will take a look at orphaned counties are: Adams, Carroll, Cerro Gordo, Emmet, Floyd, Greene, Ida, Jackson, Jones, Lyon, Mahaska, Mitchell, Montgomery, Pottawatamie, Ringgold, Sac and Tama.  These are counties that are with out a permanent coordinator and would really like to have someone like you, as their coordinator. 3. Hi, I have been researching my Creswell family for a number of years but have been very careless about documentation. Several years ago a kind soul (Mr. Street or Streeter?) provided me with a copy of a page from a register that includes permission for bride to marry and marriage registration of my Gr grandparents Donald C Creswell and Mary Ann Rush. Page #203 written in top left corner. The permission is approved on Nov 29, 1851 by Wright (?) Williams, County Judge. The certificate was issued by the State of Iowa, County of Louisa. Does anyone have any idea what the register was that this page came from? Any help appreciated, Thank you, Judy Selby Sent from my iPad
