His death was due to infirmities of old age. Mr. Morris was born in Ireland and came to this country as a young man. He lived in Iowa for the past 45 years, most of the time being spent in Keokuk. His death will be lamented by many Keokuk people, for he was a man, liked by all his acquaintances, and was a devout member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. The surviving relatives are his wife, Katherine, eight children and thirty-five granchildren. His children are Mrs. Frank Dwyer of Saint Joseph, MO; Miss Katherine Morris, a trained nurse at Saint Joseph, MO; Mrs. John Servos of Mooar; Mrs. John Aiken; Mrs. Peter Landman of this city; Mrs. George Bogle, of Mooar, Mrs. Sherman Enterline of Drummond, OK; and one son, Joseph Morris of this city.
